Complete guide to training all combat skills efficiently. From your first levels to 99, learn the best methods for every stage.
⚔️ Melee Training
Levels 1-30: Early Game
Chickens / Cows
FreeStart here. Collect feathers/hides for some GP. Located near Lumbridge.
~10-15k XP/hr
Rock Crabs
RecommendedHigh HP, low defence, aggressive. Rellekka or Waterbirth Island.
~20-30k XP/hr
Levels 30-70: Mid Game
Sand Crabs
AFKBest AFK training. 60 HP, aggressive, low defence. Hosidius (Zeah).
~30-50k XP/hr
Ammonite Crabs
Best AFK100 HP crabs. Requires Bone Voyage. Fossil Island.
~40-60k XP/hr
Slayer
RecommendedTrain combat while leveling Slayer. Efficient for account progression.

Levels 70-99: End Game
Nightmare Zone
Best AFKUse absorption potions + rock cake. AFK for 20+ minutes at a time.
~70-120k XP/hr
Nightmare Zone (Dharok's)
High LevelAt 92+ HP with Dharok's set. Stay at 1 HP with rock cake.
~100-150k XP/hr
Slayer Bosses
ProfitableContinue Slayer with boss variants. Good GP and combat XP.

Ogresses (Corsair Cove)
F2P-friendly. Safespot available. Drops runes and seeds.

Dwarf Multicannon
Cannon at Ogres or during Slayer for pure Ranged XP (no HP).

Levels 40-75
Sand/Ammonite Crabs
Same AFK spots as melee. Use best bow available.

Nightmare Zone
Use MSB(i) or crossbow with absorption potions.

Chinning (MM2 Tunnels)
FastestUse Black Chinchompas for fastest XP. Very expensive but fastest in game.

Toxic Blowpipe NMZ
Semi-AFK with good XP rates. Moderate cost.

Levels 1-45
Strike Spells
Kill low-level monsters. Cheap and gives combat XP.
~15-25k XP/hr
Quests
Witch's House, Waterfall Quest, etc. Skip early grind.
Levels 45-70
High Level Alchemy
AFK-ish. Alch profitable items to break even. No HP XP.
~65k XP/hr (can profit)
Splashing
Wear full negative magic bonus. Complete AFK. No HP XP.
~13k XP/hr (AFK)
Levels 70-99
Bursting/Barraging (MM2)
FastestIce Burst/Barrage at MM2 tunnels. Very fast, very expensive.
~250-400k XP/hr
Slayer (Magic Tasks)
Burst dust devils, nechryaels. Good XP and profitable.

💡 General Tips
Train Strength First
Higher max hit = faster kills = more XP/hr. Get Attack to weapon tier, then train Strength.
Do Slayer
Slayer trains combat while unlocking good money makers. Two birds, one stone.
Quest Early
Quests reward XP that skips early grinding. Waterfall Quest alone gets you to 30 Att/Str.
Use Best Gear
Better accuracy and damage = faster training. Upgrade weapons over armour.
